Partners Gary and Melodie Vaughan worked for nearly a decade in a variety of positions in both production and post production before starting Up is Loud. The focus in the early days was on audio post for television series, feature films and documentaries. Somehow, they were able to cram 2 edit suites and a small mix room into their tiny house, and turn out a huge amount of work during those years. By 1999 they were bursting at the seams, and it was time for a real studio.
Having spent so many years working from home, they decided to rebuild the structure to include studios and edit suites. Our facility offers picture and sound editing, ADR and Foley recording, Dolby certified 5.1 surround mixing as well as Voice Over and Animation recording. They further expanded the company to offer production services including camera, lighting and production sound services.
Up is Loud is proud of the many excellent productions we have worked on, and grateful for the recognition we have received,
